Supporting local community initiatives is a big part of what we do. So when the team from the Christchurch Flare Street Art Festival asked us to sponsor their week-long set-up with our machines, we jumped at the opportunity to see these cool works being done.

Hiring from Accessman

Accessman has been supplying access equipment to New Zealand contractors since 1994. The fleet now runs to more than 1200 machines held across branches in Auckland South, the North Shore, Hamilton, Blenheim, Christchurch, Christchurch City, Timaru, Dunedin and Cromwell.

Machines are held at branch level rather than centrally, so the machine that arrives on your site has usually come from a yard within an hour of it, and the person who took the booking knows what is actually in the yard that week.

Hire runs from a single day through to long term project hire, subject to availability at the branch. Delivery and collection are arranged by the supplying branch, so give them the site address, the access route, gate widths and any traffic management requirements when you book.

New Zealand law requires an operator to be trained and competent for the machine type they are using. Accessman is a HIANZ Silvercard provider, so machine hire and operator certification can be arranged in the same conversation.

Machine maintenance procedures go beyond the manufacturer requirements. Every machine is checked before it leaves the yard and again on return, and a harness is supplied free with every boom type machine in line with the best practice guidelines for mobile elevating work platforms.
